How do you join a Young Farmers Club?
Gloucestershire has 15 YFC Clubs all have their own strengths!
Some have more Junior members than others and they meet on different nights of the week.
You need to find a Club that suits you!
Many new members join a Club through their friends so that determines the Club they join. Some new members contact the office, when depending on your age and the locality we may suggest you visit two Clubs to see which one suits you best. Please contact your chosen Club before your visit so they can look out for you. Look under Club contacts for this info or ring the YFC Office.
Young Farmers mainly meet weekly from September to May, with summer activities from May to September. Most Clubs have their own printed programme.
Once you are happy to join your local Club you will be asked to complete a membership form and pay a subscription (this varies from Club to Club circa £10 for juniors up to approx £25 for seniors) Membership forms can be downloaded from this site and once completed need to be given to the Club treasure or secretary.
Each Club runs its own affairs starting with an AGM in September.
Young Farmers are aged between 10 and 26 and you don’t have to be one to be one!!
