Competitions and Results
There are a variety of competitions throughout the year including handicrafts, floristry, baking, cookery, tug of war, skittles, stock judging and speaking competitions.
Most are run at County level then move onto the South West Area round before going to the National finals. All members are encouraged to compete within different age ranges, there are also classes from novice to expert.

GFYFC Public Speaking Day 2026
This year’s public speaking day will be held on Sunday 25th of January. Please find rules, regulations and forms for each competition below.
