South West Area Competitions Day
Well done to all members that took part in the South West Area Competitions Day hosted at Hartpury College on the 26th June 2022! We had members competing in Junior Stockman of the Year, Fence Erecting, Cube Exhibit, Auctioneering, Junior Tug of War, Ladies Tug of War and Sheep Shearing (which took place at the Royal Three Counties Show the week before).
Congratulations to Winchcombe YFC (fence erecting team), Jack Harvey (Auctioneer from Tewkesbury YFC), Westbury on Severn YFC (cube exhibit team) and Sarah Dunn (Sheep Shearing) who will be going to through to compete at the NFYFC Finals!
South West Area Weekend
Well done to our Gloucester YFC Junior Reading team who came first at the SWA Competitions Weekend, hosted on the 5th March 2022 in Weston-super-Mare. We also had a great team from Gloucester YFC who took part in the Junior Public Speaking and Marita Warner-King from Painswick took part in the Senior Member of the Year. We are proud of all members who took part at the event!
